Module 2

I suppose I have been blogging without realising it....Myclasses at our school has been well used as a means of communication amongst my students along with the usual uploading of administrative content and support resources. This has been most effective in Stage 6 where Advanced and Extension students require further discussion in order to consolidate concepts. I do like the Schoolrack blog in that it has the capacity to include the entire parent and school community as a collaborative tool to support students across all facets of school life, both academic and pastoral.  I also like the user-friendly format of Weblogg-ed in that it can be designed to engage students in their learning in so many ways: as a tool for post-class discussion and reflection, as a means of engaging students and boosting confidence in developing insightful responses. The scope for creativity is endless with blogging! Looking forward to actively using blogging with my students!

Greetings!

My name is Mosh Mavrakis and I am the English Coordinator at Bethlehem College.

What can I say?
I am so excited about beginning this Web 2.0 course as the opportunities for learning are truly inspiring! I have really engaged with technology, particularly over the last two years, and I really want to develop my own ICT skills to really engage my students.
Looking forward to learning bigger and better things!
